Raising $6K to sequence a starseed family
The Starseed Genetics project has been running since March 2025. In the first year, we screened 581 family trios from public genomic databases and found that about 2% of children carry genetic substitutions that cannot be traced to either parent. We then collected DNA from 10 starseed families and genotyped all of them.
Genotyping has reached its limit. It checks only positions already known in the human genome and cannot detect de novo alien DNA insertions. To find those, we need long-read sequencing — the only technology that can prove whether alien DNA is physically integrated into a human chromosome rather than being contamination in a saliva sample.
All 10 families are ready. We want to start with the most promising one — a trio of father, mother, and adult child with self-reported abduction memories and physical traces.
The cost is $6,000 for DNA extraction and long-read sequencing for the three of them. Max Rempel, Ph.D., a molecular geneticist in the top 10% by publications, does all the computation at no cost. The $6,000 is the entire expense.
If we find alien DNA in a human chromosome, that is hard physical evidence of alien manipulation of human DNA. That kind of proof moves disclosure forward and brings open contact closer. A negative result is also valuable — it demonstrates that we do serious work and helps fundraising for the next family.

Participate
Dear Starseeds! Currently, we are raising funding to analyze more starseed samples. Meanwhile, you can participate by using genotyping kits on Amazon and sending us your data, and we will analyse it for free.
At this stage, we accept only full families — mother, father, and adult child. Ideally, the parents should have memories of alien abductions, but that is optional. We are looking at non-parental genetic substitutions in the adult children, which could be a result of alien hybridization.
Three types of genetic analysis
- Genotyping — kits for $99 per person on Amazon. Cheap, decent coverage (600K variants), easy to order, collect, and send.
- Short-read DNA sequencing — $466 per person at Dante. Finds more variants than genotyping, including unusual variants and some large insertions.
- Long-read DNA sequencing — $1,800 per person at Novogene. Reads the complete genome, including repetitive regions, and finds the majority of large insertions.
At this early stage we start with genotyping. Order the kits ($99 per person) and share the data with us. We analyze it, tell you what we find, and publish an anonymized summary. If you can't afford analysis or don't have 3 family members available, register anyway — we are raising funding to pay for your DNA analysis. Please indicate whether you'd be interested in giving interviews or can help with fundraising.
Instructions — how to analyze your DNA
Requirements
- Complete families only: mother, father, and at least one adult child
- All participants must be 18 years or older
- Each participant must sign an informed consent form
Step-by-step
- Request enrollment. Email Max at max@dnaresonance.org and wait for confirmation.
- Order kits. 23andMe kits from Amazon ($99/person) — one per family member.
- Preparation (don't collect yet). When kits arrive, mark each box and tube with the participant's name; email photos of labeled tubes with sample codes to max.rempel2@gmail.com.
- Registration. Max registers each kit in the 23andMe system. Wait for confirmation before collecting.
- Sample collection. Collect following kit instructions and mail using the provided return packaging.
- Results. Genotyping takes 3–4 weeks. Max downloads your genotypes, analyzes them for potential traces of alien genetic manipulation, and sends results. Encouraging results would warrant additional sequencing.
